Recap by phillip woo

Favourite Gallant Valour just scraped in after moving to the lead 60m out following a one-off trip from midfield for a second win over the Valley 1,200m from 14 starts. He's an honest performer and was sharper for a fourth on seasonal reappearance last month. Tactical Command came up just short after pulling into the open with two wider out. He's close to a win after finding the line well for placings in both starts this term. Punted late, Happy Park stayed on a close third after stalking the pace. He's naturally coming to hand in his three starts. Hayday grudgingly gave way after speaking to the lead from gate 12. It was a good run in defeat. Glory B ran on steadily for fifth after settling on the rail in midfield. He tends to mix his form. Sky Prophet was doing his best work late to finish next best after biding his time one from the rear. He's looking for a rise in trip. Happy Soul had an excuse after getting posted wide throughout from behind midfield. High Percentage was disappointing after a box-seat run. He was resuming off a nosebleed in May and lameness last month.
