Horse No 1 LUCKY EIGHT (G204) C L Chau Was noted to have sustained a small laceration to the right hind leg after the race.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 MAJESTIC EXPRESS (J244) H Bowman After leaving the 500 Metres was unable to improve its position when held up until inside the 400 Metres.
Approaching the winning post was bumped by SOLAR UP which shifted out momentarily under pressure.
Horse No 3 MACANESE MASTER (J532) M F Poon From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 5 FUN N FUN TOGETHER (J232) C Y Ho Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 GOLD MASTER (J389) A Atzeni Raced wide and without cover from the 800 Metres.
Approaching the winning post was steadied to avoid the heels of MAJESTIC EXPRESS.
Horse No 7 QINGYUAN STAR (J350) K C Leung After passing the 300 Metres K C Leung had difficulty using his whip after getting it entangled in the reins for a short distance.
Horse No 8 SOLAR UP (J134) M Chadwick After passing the 900 Metres was placed in restricted room for a short distance inside LUCKY EIGHT which was racing tight to the inside of ROBOT KNIGHT.
Bumped with MAJESTIC EXPRESS approaching the winning post.
Noted to have lost its left front plate after the race.
Horse No 9 ROBOT KNIGHT (H464) P N Wong After passing the 400 Metres was held up for clear running.
Horse No 11 LORD OF THE ROSE (J297) K De Melo From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Punted late Lucky Eight settled prominently on the fence and drew clear after hitting the lead 150m out to ring up a fourth win from 26 starts, including two-from-two down in Class Four. Fun N Fun Together found one too good but did have to work early on to lead from gate nine. His time will come after filling the frame in four of his past five starts. Solar Up kept on gamely for third after getting held up early in the straight following a rail run from better than midfield. It was clearly his best run to date. Majestic Express got up for fourth from behind midfield but had trouble keeping a straight line. He's finished in the mix in both starts this season but isn't the finished product. Sensationally backed Robot Knight whacked on one paced after a box-seat run. It wasn't a bad run back on the turf. Mr Good Vibes made some ground late near the outside after biding his time three from the rear. He isn't quite good enough at this level. Debutant Gold Master only plodded after a wide without cover trip from midfield. He had an excuse.
