Horse No 2 BLISSFUL STAR (E168) A Hamelin Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
The performance of BLISSFUL STAR was considered unacceptable.
Before being allowed to race again, BLISSFUL STAR will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 3 U S S CONSTITUTION (H357) H Bowman After the race, H Bowman could offer no explanation for the horse's performance other than it was having its first start on the All Weather track today.

Forever Folks was patiently ridden two from the rear and showed a good turn of foot to mow them down in the deep stretch for a third career win from five starts over the dirt 1,650m. He lived up to a close third last month but did get the race run to suit. Hakka Radiance stayed on a close second after a box-seat run. He has improved from one run to the next this season for his new trainer. Favourite Lucky Banner was swamped late after clearing to the front 1,300m out from gate five. It was another honest effort. Punted late Excel Wongchoy stayed on a distant fourth after making his run better than midfield on the fence. He has placed fourth in three consecutive runs but likely requires further rating relief. Floof was on his tippy toes 100m out after rolling forward to sit outside the leader 1,100m out from gate 10. He went OK carrying more weight following a win last month. Palace Pal kept on one paced after a rail run from midfield. He is borderline Class Four and is best served in Class Five over a mile or 1,800m on turf.
