Race Eight : (828) - THE HONG KONG RACEHORSE OWNERS ASSOCIATION TROPHY (HANDICAP) - Class 1 - 1600Meters
Horse No 1 MOMENTS IN TIME (H474) H Bowman Near the 1400 Metres improved to the inside of ALL FOR ST PAUL'S (M F Poon) and commenced to race keenly.
A short distance later was then steadied to avoid ALL FOR ST PAUL'S when that runner shifted in when not clear.
M F Poon was reprimanded.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 2 SWORD POINT (G448) B Avdulla A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 3 MONEY CATCHER (G171) K C Leung Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 4 CHANCHENG GLORY (H212) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 THE GOLDEN SCENERY (E379) Y L Chung Had its right front plate refitted in the saddling stalls, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.
Horse No 7 ATULLIBIGEAL (G173) K Teetan Slow to begin.
A warning was placed on its barrier manners for being slow to begin.
Horse No 9 C P BRAVE (E306) A Badel Between the 250 Metres and the 200 Metres was held up for clear running.
After the race, A Badel could offer no excuse for his mount's disappointing performance.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 10 THE BEST PEACH (H139) M Chadwick After the race, M Chadwick advised that his mount would appreciate a firmer surface.

Odds-on favourite Chancheng Glory quickened nicely to win going away 180m out after a patient ride one-off travelling behind midfield to ring up a sixth win over 1,600m from 13 starts this term. Moments In Time just held on for second after a rail run from midfield. It was a good effort with a step back in distance carrying a share of top weight. Plunged in betting, The Golden Scenery ran on nicely to just miss second prize money after biding his time two from the rear. He was suited by the race tempo. Atullibigeal got up late for fourth without threatening the top three after making his run at the rear following a very slow start. He was his own worse enemy. All For St Paul's gradually faded after chasing the speed with cover. He requires rating relief. The Best Peach ran on without threatening after making his run one from the rear. C P Brave had his chance but didn't fire after a prominent run on the fence. He's more effective over 1,800m.
