Recap by phillip woo

Super Elite responded well to win going away near the 100m after a one-off trip from midfield for a maiden win at his 14th start. He is an improved runner after joining the David Hall stable. Joyful Life found one too smart after poking his head in front 200m out following a speed tracking run from a wide draw. He relished the downgrade. Cheer For South grudgingly gave way after dictating the run from gate 10. He can produce a good showing now and then. Lucky Quality stayed on well for fourth after a wide with and without cover at times trip, three deep travelling midfield. He is a winner waiting to happen next season in this grade. Youth Power made some ground near the inside after a rail run from midfield. It was his best effort to date following a downgrade. Good View Glory failed to get into the act after a one-off trip from behind midfield. The rise in weight following a win took its toll. Cervin came from last and widest out to just miss fifth prize money after a slow start. It was positive showing following a downgrade.
