Racing Incident Report
Race Six : (737) - THE HONG KONG RIDING FOR THE DISABLED ASSOCIATION CUP(HANDICAP) - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 BOWSER (H460) A Hamelin Bumped shortly after the start.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of mucus in the horse's trachea.
Horse No 2 LO PAN SPIRIT (J233) H Bentley Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 SUPER INFINITY (J320) Z Purton Jumped only fairly.
In the early stages raced keenly.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 7 GOLDEN TITLE (H100) E C W Wong Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 8 IVICTORIAM (J226) B Thompson From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 9 FLYING ROMANTIC (J057) M F Poon For some distance after the 900 Metres over-raced when being steadied to allow LO PAN SPIRIT to cross.
Horse No 10 SUPER TAICHI (J201) A Badel From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Noted to have bled from both nostrils after the race.
Before being allowed to race again, SUPER TAICHI will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 11 GLUCK RACER (E157) K Teetan Jumped only fairly and was crowded by BOWSER which shifted in after being bumped by HAROLD WIN.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 12 GANGNAM STAR (H326) M Chadwick Approaching the 900 Metres was crowded by GOLDEN TITLE (Apprentice E C W Wong) which shifted in.
A short distance later, GOLDEN TITLE was then taken out by BOWSER and making the turn after the 900 Metres shifted back in, crowding GANGNAM STAR which also lay out at that point.
As a result, GANGNAM STAR struck the heels of GOLDEN TITLE and blundered.
Apprentice Wong was reprimanded.

Lo Pan Spirit drew clear for a convincing win after easily finding the front from gate six. He's now won two of three starts and there's likely more in store from the three-year-old. Punted late Gluck Racer ran on nicely to grab second by a neck after making his run behind midfield on the fence. It was another solid run. Favourite Super Infinity ran on nicely down the outside to just get the head down for third after a wide trip towards the rear. He is still a work in progress but has run on nicely to place in both starts. Harold Win just missed a placing after a one-out, one-back run. He made a nice impression in both starts. Flying Romantic just held his ground when asked for an effort after a box-seat run. It was his best effort from five starts. The Azure ran on to finish next best after making his run two from the rear. He's still learning the ropes. Bowser came up one-paced when asked for an effort following a rail run from midfield. He's disappointed twice carrying big weights after a third up success over the straight 1,000m.
