Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (129) - SHEK UK SHAN HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1650Meters
RIGHTEOUS DOCTRINE began only fairly and then was crowded for room between BEAR SLAM which shifted out after being brushed by CHANCHENG PRINCE and ELITE PATCH which became unbalanced after being bumped by SKYEY SUPREME.
From the outside barrier, SMART PATCH was steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.
Passing the winning post on the first occasion, STAR PERFORMANCE got its head up when awkwardly placed close to the heels of GAMEPLAYER TIMES when being steadied to obtain cover behind that horse.
Passing the 1200 Metres, L Ferraris (BEAR SLAM) adjusted his right foot in the stirrup iron.
GAMEPLAYER TIMES got its head on the side and lay out making the Home Turn, resulting in THE HULK racing tight inside ELITE PATCH.
Throughout the race, CHANCHENG PRINCE travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of BEAR SLAM, STAR PERFORMANCE and GOLD COMET immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
GAMEPLAYER TIMES, CHANCHENG PRINCE and TRUE LEGEND were sent for sampling.

Chancheng Prince defied a wide trip chasing the speed to take control near the 200m for back-to-back wins following a switch to the dirt. He might have more points in hand on this surface. True Legend kept on gamely for second chasing the leader. Skyey Supreme weakened to finish a non-threatening third straightening two lengths on top leading from an outside draw. He's always a chance if given his own way in front. Elite Patch ran on late one from the right to fill the frame without menacing the top-three after a patient ride third last from an awkward gate. He's better suited over the 1,800m. Plunged late to jump favourite Gameplayer Times kept on rather one-paced when popped the question travelling one off the fence fore of midfield. He's just not good enough at this level. Righteous Doctrine ran on without threatening after making his run near last following a slow start. He's crying out for a longer trip. Gold Comet didn't find much after a prominent run. He continues to struggle in his four runs at this level.
