Racing Incident Report
Race Ten: (93) - WO TIK HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1400Meters
STAR PERFORMANCE shifted out at the start and bumped SMART PATCH which in turn shifted out and bumped HORSESAIN BOLT which became unbalanced.
CHARGE ON was steadied on jumping to obtain cover, shifted out and bumped HALL OF CHAMP.
From a wide barrier, BABY was steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.
VITRALITE travelled keenly approaching the 1200 Metres when being steadied to obtain cover.
After the 1200 Metres, HORSESAIN BOLT was left racing wide and without cover.
Approaching the 100 Metres, STAR PERFORMANCE was held up for clear running behind KING'S CAPITAL and MASTER DELIGHT.
A veterinary inspection of STAR PERFORMANCE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
MASTER DELIGHT, GOLDEN LINK and SUPER WINNER were sent for sampling.

Golden Link got up in the final few strides to deny Super Winner after a pace-stalking run from gate 13. He continues to raise his game after winning twice last season to cap a brilliant day for jockey Mathew Chadwick. Long-time leader Super Winner wouldn't go down without a fight after finding the front from gate 14. He's very game over this trip. Horsesain Bolt stayed on well after a deep run better than midfield to fill a placing. It was another honest performance. Favourite Master Delight closed well from behind midfield to fill the frame. It was a good effort in a race run to suit those up front and he remains one to follow. King's Capital stayed on all right travelling one off in midfield. It was a pleasing effort up in grade following a win. Hall Of Champ ran on late without ever looking a threat after biding his time fourth last from a wide draw. He needs a stronger pace. Meridian Genius came up one-paced when asked for an effort handy along the fence. He's having trouble recapturing his best form. Charge On ran on without threatening from towards the rear. He wasn't suited by the pace. Star Performance didn't click after a rails run worse than midfield. He's disappointed twice after an opening win.
