Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (433) - LAM TIN HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1800Meters
HAPPY SEBRING and RIGHTEOUS DOCTRINE were slow to begin.
HOLY HEART was bumped on jumping by ENFOLDING which shifted in away from OWNERS' STAR.
After this, ENFOLDING was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After passing the winning post on the first occasion, MONGOLIAN LEGEND got its head on the side and shifted in away from HOLY HEART when reluctant to maintain its position inside that horse.
After the 900 Metres, GENERAL DINO and UNITE SPIRIT were left racing wide and without cover.
ENFOLDING was held up for clear running rounding the Home Turn and passing the 400 Metres was shifted out from behind OWNERS' STAR and HOLY HEART to improve.
Near the 450 Metres, I DO was bumped an taken wider by RED ELYSEES which shifted out to improve.
RIGHTEOUS DOCTRINE was held up for clear running until passing the 250 Metres.
After the race, Z Purton said that when returning to the unsaddling area, ENFOLDING did not feel entirely comfortable in its action.
A veterinary inspection of ENFOLDING immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

RIGHTEOUS DOCTRINE and RED ELYSEES were sent for sampling.

Favourite Righteous Doctrine got the gaps when required to get up 100m out for the win after a patient ride fourth from the rear. Red Elysees found one too good after hitting the front 300m out following a well-executed run fourth on the fence behind the duelling leaders Lao's Enlightenment and Smiling City from a tricky gate. Volpino just failed to get up for second from behind midfield. He keeps promising but can't deliver. Enfolding got going late to fill the frame after settling third last from a wide draw. He's as honest as the day is long on this surface. Holy Heart came up flat with his bid over the last 100m after getting shuffled back to sit three-deep with three behind him coming to the final bend. Owners' Star ran on without menacing from beyond midfield. It wasn't a bad effort. It was a typical run without menacing effort by Happy Sebring after making his run at the back of the field.
