Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (7) - SUNSET PEAK HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
SHIMMER AND SHINE began awkwardly and lost ground.
MR ALDAN, which was leaning on the outsider of its barriers as the start was effected, began awkwardly and was slow to begin.
From the outside barriers, GOLDEN SIXTY and INFINITY ENDEAVOUR were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After travelling a short distance, MR CROISSANT was awkwardly placed outside the heels of NEW ASIA SUNRISE.
Passing the 400 Metres, INFINITY ENDEAVOUR was awkwardly placed close to the heels of SHIMMER AND SHINE when held up for clear running behind that horse.
Approaching the 100 Metres, NEW ASIA SUNRISE raced tight inside the heels of MR CROISSANT.
Passing the 100 Metres, INFINITY ENDEAVOUR was directed to the inside of MY DARLING to continue improving.
A veterinary inspection of SHIMMER AND SHINE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
GOLDEN SIXTY and MR CROISSANT were sent for sampling.

Golden Sixty gave favourite Mr Croissant a start but still mowed him down the outside to win going away 50m out following a patient ride one from the back to remain perfect in four runs over this Sha Tin trip. Mr Croissant found one better after hitting the front 100m out following a one-off run in midfield. He ran well in defeat and will be saluting shortly. New Asia Sunrise stayed on well for a placing after settling behind the leaders. He's well rated on some good form not long ago. Happy Fun just held onto fourth after pressuring My Darling for the front on the fence. It was a pleasing run in defeat and he can breakthrough soon. Specked late My Darling was stopping 100m out after rushing forward to lead 950m out at a good pace. Infinity Endeavour got going late from the rear of the field. He's in the right grade but seems more effective nowadays at the Valley. Shimmer And Shine did not fire travelling fourth from the back despite a suitable pace.
