Recap by phillip woo

Formless Keep Winning kept on gamely after storming to the front approaching the 200m for an upset win following a ground-saving run in midfield. Lucky Win Win closed well near the outside after travelling three deep third from the rear to grab second 150m out. It was a solid effort with a return to his preferred all-weather surface at only his second start this term. Mi Blanco ran on steadily near the inside from behind midfield to fill a placing. He's not a prolific winner but rarely produces a bad run on this surface. Favourite Enjoyable Success left things too late but got going from near last to fill a Quartet spot. He's more effective over the 1,800m. Backed late Master Bernini was only grinding away without ever looking a danger following a one-off run in midfield. He's still trying to find a bottom. Top-weighted Lotus Breeze had little left inside the last 150m after shooting to the front 400m out following a speed-tracking run.
