Recap by phillip woo

Keep Moving defied a deep run fore of midfield to get up 100m out for a fifth win from 10 starts. He's unbeaten in three first-up runs. If he pulls up well, he'll remain competitive up in grade off a light weight. General Iron finished strongly two from the right trailing the field to grab second. Old-timer has been racing consistently without winning over this trip. Super Wise was just denied second following a prominent run. It was an improved run from a better gate but he might not have much upside off his current mark. Most Beautiful rallied well down the outside travelling one from the back to fill a Quartet spot. It was a positive run despite a return to Class Three. Prince Harmony peaked on his run 50m out following a deep run without cover near the speed. He is better suited over the 1,200m. E-super made some ground late after a very deep run travelling fourth from the rear. He appeared to need the outing but is back in the right class.

Racing Incident Report

Race Six: (34) - THE COMMUNITY CHEST CUP (HANDICAP) - Class 3 - 1000Meters

OUR HERO began only fairly.

G-ONE LOVER shifted out at the start and bumped E-SUPER which in turn shifted out and inconvenienced CHEER WIN.

CHEER WIN then shifted out when being steadied from a wide barrier to obtain cover, resulting in GENERAL IRON, which was also being steadied, being momentarily eased away from the heels of CHEER WIN.

Also from the outside barrier, MOST BEAUTIFUL was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.

Despite being vigorously ridden along for some distance in the early stages, G-ONE LOVER failed to muster speed and after the 700 Metres was steadied to obtain cover behind KEEP MOVING.

MOST BEAUTIFUL, which was following G-ONE LOVER, was awkwardly placed behind that horse near the 600 Metres.

MOST BEAUTIFUL made the Home Turn awkwardly.

At the 250 Metres, PRINCE HARMONY shifted out and brushed KEEP MOVING.

Approaching the 50 Metres, MOST BEAUTIFUL and E-SUPER bumped.

After the race, Z Purton stated that TURF SPRINT began very well and consequently raced in a more prominent position than had been intended.

He said nonetheless TURF SPRINT travelled well throughout the race and after being shifted to the outside of the leader rounding the Home Turn was disappointing in the manner in which it failed to finish off the race.

A veterinary inspection of TURF SPRINT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

TURF SPRINT, KEEP MOVING and GENERAL IRON were sent for sampling.
