Favourite Cheerfuljet had plenty left in the tank after dictating a good pace for a second straight win. He's got plenty of points in hand. Paddington stuck on a clear second following a box-seat run. The light weight with a move to blinkers worked well. Specked late Numero Uno ran on nicely to place after executing well from a tricky gate to find the fence in midfield. He's hit a purple patch of form and should remain competitive over this Valley trip. Contribution closed off nicely down the outside after travelling fourth from rear from a wide gate. He pops up now and then and requires a longer trip. Starlot kept on all right following a one-off run sitting behind midfield from an outside draw. He merits another chance from a better gate. Firming late Show Mission was given every chance sitting one-out, one-back but couldn't lift when popped the question. He might need a break after five hard runs this term.

Racing Incident Report

Race Four: (285) - JUPITER HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters

GOLDEN ACHIEVER began awkwardly.

NUMERO UNO was crowded for room on jumping between STARLOT and PRESIDENTPARAMOUNT which shifted out.

Shortly after the start, SHOW MISSION shifted out and bumped MAGIC AGILITY.

Despite being hard ridden in the early stages, CONTRIBUTION failed to muster speed and making the turn after the 1100 Metres was shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.

Making the turn after the 600 Metres, OPEN HOUSE shifted in and bumped the running rail of its own accord, resulting in the horse becoming unbalanced and losing ground.

Also making the turn after the 600 Metres, CONTRIBUTION got its head on the side and shifted out, resulting in the horse being severely checked away from the heels of STARLOT which was awkwardly placed close to the heels of MAGIC AGILITY which at this time came under pressure.

At the entrance to the Straight, NUMERO UNO was shifted in away from the heels of PRESIDENTPARAMOUNT to obtain clear running.

Throughout the race, MAGIC AGILITY travelled wide and without cover.

The performances of MAGIC AGILITY and TRIUMPHAL WIN, which finished tailed out, were considered unacceptable.

Before being allowed to race again, MAGIC AGILITY and TRIUMPHAL WIN will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

A veterinary inspection of DIAMOND LEGEND and STARLOT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

After the race, an endoscopic examination was conducted on NUMERO UNO at the request of Trainer T P Yung.

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that this examination showed that the horse had an epiglottic entrapment.

CHEERFULJET and PADDINGTON were sent for sampling.
