Recap by phillip woo

Plunged late, Giddy Giddy showed a bit of versatility to take the sit in the box-seat, hit the front 200m out and kept on gamely for a third win from 19 starts this term. His natural speed will always ensure he has a fighting chance on this surface. Favourite Star Superior ran on steadily from midfield but couldn't quite peg back the winner. It was his third straight runner-up result and he'll be winning next season. Massive Millennium finished well from beyond midfield to finish a distant third. He's returned to form to fill the frame in three straight runs following a switch to the dirt but does act on both surfaces and should be winning early next season. Bolshoi Ballet stuck on okay after deep run in a handy position. He produces an odd good run at times. Massive Move had little left over the final 150m after clearing to lead from gate 12 with a tonne of money for him late. He's needs to bowl along with a claimer's allowance off a feather weight to be competitive at this level. Respect was never dangerous following a one-off run travelling fore of midfield. He's tired.

Racing Incident Report

Race Four (782)-POK FU LAM PUBLIC RIDING SCHOOL HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Metres

GOKO was slow to begin.

MASSIVE MILLENNIUM began awkwardly.

VICTORY FOLLOW ME began only fairly and shifted in towards the heels of GIDDY GIDDY.

LIGHTNING MISSILE began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped RESPECT.

Shortly after the start, LIGHTNING MISSILE was tightened for room between RESPECT and BOLSHOI BALLET (B Prebble) which shifted in.

B Prebble was reprimanded.

Passing the 1000 Metres, OHANA raced tight between MASSIVE MILLENNIUM and VICTORY FOLLOW ME (J Moreira) which got its head on the side and lay in.

As J Moreira was attempting to direct VICTORY FOLLOW ME out to relieve the tightening to OHANA, VICTORY FOLLOW ME got its head up and shifted in away from the heels of BOLSHOI BALLET (B Prebble) which shifted in.

This resulted in OHANA being crowded for room and VICTORY FOLLOW ME losing ground.

B Prebble was reprimanded and advised that whilst there were some circumstances associated to this incident, nonetheless he must ensure that he is clear of other runners when shifting ground in future.

BOLSHOI BALLET lost its right front plate near the 900 Metres.

Passing the 800 Metres, GOKO became unbalanced when being steadied away from the heels of STAR SUPERIOR.

Passing the 500 Metres, LIGHTNING MISSILE was shifted out away from the heels of BOLSHOI BALLET which got its head on the side and lay out.

Close to the finishing line, B Prebble dropped his whip.

Throughout the race, both BOLSHOI BALLET and LIGHTNING MISSILE travelled wide and without cover.

A veterinary inspection of GOKO, RESPECT and VICTORY FOLLOW ME immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

GIDDY GIDDY and STAR SUPERIOR were sent for sampling.
