Favourite D B Pin drew clear after hitting the front 130m out following a prominent run to notch a fifth win from eight starts in a good time despite carrying top weight in his dirt debut. He's an impressive sprinter who can head higher. Blocker Dee defied a deep run travelling handy without cover from a wide gate to grab second in deep stretch in another honest performance. He's a Valley freak but usually form from that course can translate to the dirt. Pablosky shared the lead while setting a good pace and kept on reasonably well for a placing. It was a return to form on recent runs but he has always been a capable performer on this surface. Hit The Bid rallied all right near the inside following a midfield run to win a photo-finish of three for fourth. He's likely on his mark but doesn't know how to run a bad race sprinting on this surface. Fight Hero ran on steadily without menacing travelling fore of midfield. He might need to catch his breath after winning his two previous starts and the rise in weight was also an issue. Time Warp ran on steadily after a deep run with cover in midfield but may be better suited over the mile on this surface.

Racing Incident Report

Race Seven: (551)-CHUN SHEK HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1200Metres

HIT THE BID was crowded for room on jumping between PABLOSKY and D B PIN, both of which shifted ground.

After this, despite being ridden along, HIT THE BID was slow to muster speed.

In the early stages, BERLINI was steadied and shifted across behind runners from a wide barrier.

PABLOSKY lost its right front plate after the 1100 Metres.

When being steadied to allow BLOCKER DEE to cross and to obtain cover behind that horse passing the 900 Metres, HARRIER JET commenced to travel very keenly and became awkwardly placed close to the heels of BLOCKER DEE.

BLOCKER DEE subsequently travelled wide and without cover throughout the race.

Then making the turn after the 700 Metres, HARRIER JET was also left racing wide and without cover.

TIME WARP lay in under pressure in the Straight.

A veterinary inspection of MOST BEAUTIFUL and HARRIER JET immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

D B PIN and BLOCKER DEE were sent for sampling.
