Racing Incident Report
Race One: (308)-PATERSON HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1200Metres
Just prior to the start being effected, CHANS DELIGHT turned its head to the left.CHANS DELIGHT was consequently slow to begin and travelled wide and without cover throughout the race.
ABLE TALENT began only fairly and shortly after the start was crowded for room between TELECOM BOOM and RICHCITY FORTUNE which shifted in.
OPTIMISM and INTELLECTUAL GLIDE were badly crowded for room on jumping between SIR JOHN and PERFECT SMART which, despite the efforts of its rider, got its head on the side and shifted in abruptly for some distance after the start.
OPTIMISM lay out making the turn after the 1000 Metres.
After the 400 Metres, ABLE TALENT was momentarily crowded for room between TELECOM BOOM and CHANS DELIGHT which shifted in marginally.
Near the 150 Metres, SIR JOHN and RICHCITY FORTUNE raced tight.
TREASURE AND GOLD travelled wide and without cover throughout the race.
TREASURE AND GOLD, INVISIBLE and FOREVER FUN were sent for sampling.

Invisible came on strongly from midfield to run down Forever Fun in the final few strides to remain unbeaten in two outings in Class Five. He'll still need to lift on his form outside this grade. Forever Fun grudgingly gave way after assuming the lead 250m out following a pace-stalking run from a wide gate. The draw had swayed punters after filling the frame in two prior starts. Sir John had his chance following a box-seat run. From a good draw, he's always a chance sprinting at this level. Favourite Treasure And Gold ran on steadily travelling just worse than midfield to get the bob in for fourth. He has been knocking on the door in three starts over this course this season and a win isn't far away. Optimism ran on without menacing from behind midfield but can pop up at any time. Richcity Fortune disappointed following a one-out, one-back run despite a drop in grade. He tends to perform better at Sha Tin and a claimer should be considered when next stepping out.
