Racing Incident Report
Race Four: (709)-CELOSIA HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Metres
After being loaded, THUNDER DASH reared and momentarily sat down.THUNDER DASH was removed from the barriers and examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race.
Before being allowed to race again, THUNDER DASH will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial.
THUNDER DASH began awkwardly.
RICCO RICCO, which was being steadied to obtain a position with cover from a wide barrier, was bumped by WORLD CITY shortly after the start which momentarily raced tight inside FAIRY TWINS.
Passing the 700 Metres, ACCLAIMED LIGHT was steadied away from the heels of MANHATTAN STRIKER after being awkwardly placed behind that horse.
ACCLAIMED LIGHT had some difficulty obtaining clear running approaching and passing the 300 Metres.
Passing the 300 Metres, DR LISTENING was shifted to the outside of FAIRY TWINS to obtain clear running.
Near the 50 Metres, DR LISTENING was inconvenienced when taken wider by FAIRY TWINS which shifted out under pressure.
MULTIMAX travelled wide and without cover throughout the race.
A veterinary inspection of MULTIMAX and HAPPY SOUND immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
DR LISTENING and FAIRY TWINS were sent for sampling.

Raging favourite Dr Listening settled midfield along the fence, shifted into the open six deep at the 200m and finished well despite being forced deep by Fairy Twins to get up in deep stretch for the win at only his second start. He's got a lot more upside to come. Fairy Twins landed a nice spot one off in fifth from a wide gate, swept to the front 180m out and kept on well despite drifting out under pressure. He remains one to follow. Supreme Flight punched forward to lead from Happy Sound 900m out, cornered a near length on top and kept on gamely for a placing. Acclaimed Light finished nicely after straightening five deep following a patient ride fourth from the rear to fill a Quartet spot with a drop in grade. Let Me Do was posted deep with cover in midfield, rounded the final bend with two wider out and made some ground despite a tendency to lay in under pressure. Multimax was posted deep without cover in third, straightened four deep and kept on evenly over the final 150m. He can be forgiven for the run. Happy Sound took the sit in second, straightened with every chance and was yielding ground 200m out.
