Racing Incident Report
Race Five: (377)-BUKIT TIMAH HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1600Metres
SUPREME PROFIT shifted out at the start, resulting in CIRCUIT FORTUNE being bumped and taken out onto MAC ROW which was hampered.ELITE PRIDE was crowded for room on jumping between ARCHIPPUS and RAZOR QUEST, both of which shifted ground.
From the outside barrier, LUCKY DAN was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Passing the 1400 Metres, RAZOR QUEST got its head up when proving difficult to settle and awkwardly placed close to the heels of ARCHIPPUS which was also proving difficult to settle.
Approaching the 1300 Metres, ARCHIPPUS was momentarily crowded for room inside SPIRIT SOARING which was then directed out by its rider to relieve the tightening to ARCHIPPUS.
SPIRIT SOARING was then allowed to stride into a more forward position after being left racing wide and without cover.
After this, ARCHIPPUS proved very difficult to settle and got its head up on a number of occasions when racing ungenerously.
Approaching the 1100 Metres, ARCHIPPUS shifted out abruptly away from the heels of O'SOCOOLE and bumped JACK'S GEM, taking that horse wider.
RAZOR QUEST, which was following ARCHIPPUS, again got its head up on a number of occasions when being checked away from the heels of ARCHIPPUS.
ARCHIPPUS then continued to prove very difficult to settle for some distance.
Also approaching the 1100 Metres, MAC ROW got its head up when racing close to the heels of RAZOR QUEST.
SUPREME PROFIT was held up for clear running in the early part of the Straight.
RAZOR QUEST also had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight.
Near the 350 Metres, LUCKY DAN was bumped by ELITE PRIDE which shifted out to obtain clear running.
Approaching the 200 Metres, WINNING PREMIUM and SPIRIT SOARING raced tight as WINNING PREMIUM improved into tight running between SPIRIT SOARING and HARBOUR DELIGHT.
CIRCUIT FORTUNE was unable to obtain clear running at any stage in the Straight and consequently was not able to be tested.
For the majority of the race, JACK'S GEM travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of CIRCUIT FORTUNE immediately following the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.
Before being allowed to race again, CIRCUIT FORTUNE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
SUPREME PROFIT and RAZOR QUEST were sent for sampling.

Firming favourite Supreme Profit settled one off in midfield, rounded the final bend four deep and quickened nicely with clear running to win going away 150m out for a third victory. He can win off a light weight in the next grade. Razor Quest settled third from the rear and one off the rails, straightened three-to-four deep and ran on strongly to edge Born To Win close to home for second. Born To Win assumed the front 250m out after stalking the leader Harbour Delight one off the rails runs from a tricky gate and grudgingly gave way. Plunged late, O'Socoole plugged away to just hold a Quartet spot after travelling one off the rails outside Supreme Profit in the run from a wide gate. Elite Pride was getting going late with two wider out after settling fourth from the rear and two off the rails. Electronic Phoenix travelled at the rear and made some nice progress late in an improved third-up effort . Mac Row made some ground five deep upon straightening without menacing.
