Lovely Naughty was able to get over from gate 12 to sit outside the leader Horse Supremo, cornered three deep and got up 150m out for the win with money coming for him late. It doesn't look a strong form race. Easy Success travelled fourth from the rear, straightened three-to-four deep and finished nicely to overhaul favourite Horse Supremo close to home for second. Horse Supremo led as expected from gate four, cornered a length on top and was tippy-toeing 100m out. Danewin Tiger settled second from the rear, swung the final bend with two wider out and was closing late to finish a distant fourth. Star Of Wai Bo made a mild without ever looking a threat with one wider out after travelling worse than midfield and one off the rails. Owners' Pride travelled last along the rails after a slow break, cornered four deep and made reasonable progress without menacing. Confucius Elite came up flat following a midfield run with cover. Snowhooves was struggling in the straight run after travelling three deep with some cover behind midfield despite a drop in grade and switch to the dirt.

Racing Incident Report

Race Four: (376)-CHANGI HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Metres

OWNERS' PRIDE was slow to begin and from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

SNOWHOOVES began only fairly.

VICTORY GENERAL began awkwardly.

Despite being ridden along in the early stages, STAR OF WAI BO failed to muster speed.

Near the 250 Metres, DANEWIN TIGER was shifted to the outside of STAR OF WAI BO after being disappointed for running between that horse and CONFUCIUS ELITE which shifted out.

Throughout the race, FOREVER FUN travelled wide and without cover.

A veterinary inspection of SNOWHOOVES and CONFUCIUS ELITE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

HORSE SUPREMO, LOVELY NAUGHTY and EASY SUCCESS were sent for sampling.
