All Elite Wrestling’s SoCal Uncensored – Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky – flew in to Shanghai last month to visit Oriental Wrestling Entertainment’s training facility.

OWE president Daniel Fu and vice-president Michael Nee introduced OWE’s young performers, who had prepared some demonstrations of their hybrid kung fu wrestling style – or “kung fu s***” as Nee put it.

SCU were clearly impressed. “Scorpio, he’s been wrestling for 16 years, Frankie’s been wrestling for 21 years, and I’ve been wrestling for 26 years,” Daniels said in front of the OWE performers. “We’ve been fortunate enough to wrestle all over the world. And we’ve seen many schools in the US and around the world, and this school is one of the best facilities I’ve ever seen, and you guys are one of the most dedicated, professional looking groups of students that we’ve ever seen.”

Nee told the South China Morning Post that OWE had asked SCU to give their students some lessons and advice. The training seminar was meant to be for 20 minutes, but SCU stayed for three hours instead.
