NBA stars wow Hong Kong crowd with dunks, dribbles and deep threes at Yao Ming charity game

More than 6,000 fans were treated to non-stop dunks, fancy dribbles, pinpoint passes and super long-range three-pointers, as a team of NBA stars put on a show in an 128-104 win over the best the Chinese Basketball Association had to offer at the 12th Yao Foundation charity game on Tuesday night.
Led by James Harden, Paul George and Jimmy Butler, who have a combined 25 All-Star selections between them, and 2020 NBA champion Kyle Kuzma, the visitors took turns to impress the fans right from the start.
Washington Wizards forward Kuzma connected with three straight threes at one point, while Harden showed off with his signature moves before launching shots from far behind the arc.
Philadelphia 76ers star forward George pulled up for threes on fast breaks while Butler almost drove the lane and dunked at will, handling the international stars a 70-37 lead at the break.
Fans donning jerseys with George, Harden and Butler printed on the back flocked to AsiaWorld-Expo well ahead of the 7.15pm start time, with queues forming almost three hours earlier.
Some 5,094 tickets, ranging from the cheapest at HK$180 to the most expensive ones at HK$3,880 were all sold out and scalpers were seen offering fans more than face value for their tickets, suggesting an excess demand.
