Visitors to the Jaeger-LeCoultre booth get to see virtual watches on their wrists – including this year’s additions to the Rendez-Vous collection

Though known for its consistent innovation, Jaeger-LeCoultre retains the hallmarks of classic watchmaking that pays homage to its heritage.

The brand celebrated the 85th anniverary of Reverso in 2016 with a collaboration with Christian Louboutin, who added his iconic red lining to a designer edition of the Reverso.

Meanwhile, the Rendez-Vous collection, launched in 2012, is distinctly elegant. The collection’s sophistication lies in its understated details, including guilloché and celestial-themed dials.

This year’s Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) additions to the collection feature new complications for women, including a newly designed moonphase and a chime function.

Jaeger-LeCoultre’s booth at SIHH 2017 featured a screen that enabled visitors to virtually try on their timepieces – an innovative use of augmented reality.

The novelty of the new models lies mostly in their aesthetic offerings, however. The Rendez-Vous Night & Day collection is now available in multiple sizes, materials and colours.

With a 38.2mm case, the Rendez-Vous Night & Day Large gives wearers the ability to change buckles and straps without the use of a tool.
