Men’s bracelets: discover Prince Harry, David Beckham, Harry Kane and Barry Keoghan’s stylish choices

Celebrities are embracing the latest on-trend wristwear for men with luxury jeweller Tateossian and trending designers like Luis Morais and Thomas Sabo producing bracelets with beads and charms

There’s a new mood sweeping through men’s jewellery right now. It’s relaxed, brimming with colour, and bringing a fresh energy to the most stylish jewels of the season.

When it comes to men’s bracelets, there’s been quite the resurgence of fashion-forward guys ready to embrace the latest styles – and luckily for those yet to hop on the trend, there’s a great number of fun options available to jazz up your wrist.

Many in the public eye have already embraced the men’s bracelet. Prince Harry, for example, is a fan of a playful wrist stack, and can often be seen sporting an engraved bangle – even on his wedding day to Meghan Markle in May 2018. The silver piece, which features a dark engraving, is widely believed to have been purchased by the British royal during his first trip to Africa in 1997, shortly after the death of his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales.

He was first photographed wearing the bracelet back in 2001, as he cheered on his teammates from the sidelines of a charity polo match alongside his brother, Prince William. It’s also not unusual for Harry to mix and match his bracelets – something he did this past May, at an event to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games at St Paul’s Cathedral in London, where he paired the silver bracelet with a blue beaded one.

David Beckham is also a fan of a beaded bracelet. He frequently wears a bohemian-inspired design from Los Angeles jeweller Nialaya. The hand-strung bracelet is set with a variety of healing gemstone beads, including tiger’s eye and turquoise. The former footballer and Unicef Goodwill Ambassador also favours a sustainable friendship band by Togetherband, a campaign highlighting the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Beckham’s choice is Goal 3, a lime green woven bracelet crafted from upcycled ocean plastic that stands for “good health and well-being”.

Actor Barry Keoghan has also worn a friendship bracelet with a sentimental meaning. Attending the 2024 Oscars Vanity Fair after-party wearing a black tweed jacket, the Saltburn star adorned his left wrist with a beaded bracelet that spelled “Sabrina” alongside a heart charm – a sweet nod to his girlfriend, singer Sabrina Carpenter.

More recently, footballer and England captain Harry Kane debuted his own beaded bracelet ahead of England’s match against Denmark at the UEFA Euros 2024. In a photo shared to Instagram, Kane is seen wearing a bracelet crafted from polished beads of lapis lazuli from Loquet London. The piece is part of a two-piece collection, Charms for Change, co-designed by Harry’s wife, Kate Kane, in aid of the Harry Kane Foundation. The second bracelet in the collection is crafted from rose quartz, an ornamental gemstone that has long been worn as a talisman and is prized for its purported healing properties. Seven tiny charms depict various symbols – from a lion, as worn by the England captain, to a Bowen knot representing family ties, to a “silver lining” cloud in moonstone, representing strength and hope.
