The new Cartier Libre Polymorph collection takes the jewellery house’s savoir faire to new heights with its innovative creations that transform before the wearer’s eyes – and Charlize Theron just wore pieces to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Ever the elegant mascot, the panther has been at the heart of Cartier’s identity throughout the decades. Capturing the fierce prance of the feline from a wholly different perspective, the Polymorph brooch is the brand’s subtle nod to the panther. Four large moonstones mimic the savage claws of the big cat, with snow-set diamonds and onyx accentuating the beauty of the design. But the piece offers much more than meets the eye – a miniature dial covered in diamonds is revealed when pressed.
