Ivanka Trump just celebrated her grandma’s 98th birthday, as seen in a sweet post shared by the former first child on Instagram.
“Today we have the joy of celebrating my Grandma Babi’s 98th birthday!” The Celebrity Apprentice alum, 42, wrote in a caption shared earlier this week, alongside a series of family pics. “Her stories and radiant spirit bring so much light into our lives. I’m deeply grateful for every moment we share and for Rusa, her wonderful nurse, who cares for Babi like family and has become part of ours!”
In the first photo, Ivanka is seen posing alongside her husband, Jared Kushner, and their three children, Arabella, Joseph and Theodore, as well as Babi’s nurse, Rusa, as they crowd around the birthday girl. The slide show continues with throwback snaps of a young Ivanka with her grandma.

Marie Zelníčková is Ivanka Trump’s maternal grandmother
Babi had her daughter Ivana Marie Zelníčková with her partner, Miloš Zelníček, who died over three decades ago in 1990. Although not much is known about Babi’s childhood, there is more known about her daughter and her eventual move to the US.
Speaking about her daughter, Babi told Newsweek in 2017: “Ivana didn’t want to stay [in Czechoslovakia]. She was always ambitious, and her father treated her like a boy.”
