Actor Christian Slater is a proud father once again. Slater and his wife of 10 years, Brittany Lopez, welcomed a baby boy in July.
The latest addition to the family is the Blink Twice actor’s fourth child and second with Lopez. The couple have a daughter together, Lena, born in 2019, and the Heathers star also has two children from his previous marriage to journalist Ryan Haddon: 25-year-old Jaden Christopher and 22-year-old Eliana Sophia.
News of Lopez’s second pregnancy first broke when she appeared on the red carpet for the Unfrosted premiere, looking radiant in a floral off-shoulder gown as she debuted her baby bump. Otherwise, the love of Slater’s life, who is at least 18 years younger than him, has maintained a low profile except for rare appearances alongside her hubby at public events.

What’s Brittany Lopez’s background?
Not much is known about Brittany Lopez’s personal or professional life. The Miami Herald reports that she is the daughter of General Asphalt owner Albert Lopez; General Asphalt is one of South Florida’s largest heavy highway and civil contractors.
Lopez’s parents are divorced and she has two sisters, one of whom is her twin. She attended Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, on a merit scholarship and studied literature and economics.

Lopez spent two years at North Miami’s Museum of Contemporary Art as director of corporate development. Her boss Bonnie Clearwater, then director of MOCA, told the Miami Herald about her time there: “She has the gift of being able to talk with ease to strangers and engage them.
