According to Massachusetts-based news source MassLive, Assada was born into a Lebanese-Irish family and moved from Boston’s waterfront Charlestown neighbourhood to the state’s city of Melrose as a kid. “I spent summers on the Cape, just like every other Massachusetts kid,” he told the media outlet. “I’m really just a typical Massachusetts boy-next-door-type person.”
