How did Dominik Mysterio meet his wife, Marie Juliette?
Mysterio revealed on Impaulsive that he and his wife were high school sweethearts and had been dating since they were 14. (Both husband and wife are now 27.) They reportedly met at a Spanish class and fell in love at first sight.
After getting engaged in 2023, the couple tied the knot on March 8 in the presence of WWE stars Damian Priest, Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley. As a “heel” – a villainous wrestling persona who fans love to hate – Mysterio is commonly booed during his WWE appearances, and he was even booed at his own wedding.
What was Marie Juliette’s reaction to Dominik Mysterio’s on-screen romance?
On Paul’s podcast, Mysterio opened up about his wife’s reaction to his on-screen love triangle … or, rather, her lack of one. “The first text I got from her [after that] was, ‘There’s a tarantula in our garage,’” he shared.
When Mysterio double-crossed Ripley and kissed Morgan, Ripley – in character – was visibly distressed, but his IRL wife was apparently unperturbed because, Mysterio said, she “understands the difference from, like, when I’m on TV I’m Dirty Dom, and I come home to her and I’m her husband Dominik … she does a good job of separating work and real life”.

Mysterio told Bakers Bantering that, despite the long distance when he was in training, “We just kind of made it work somehow, I think it’s because we’ve been with each other for so long.”
