Man has also garnered a lot of attention across the border for starring in new cinematic release Lost in the Stars. Since its release on June 22, box office ticket sales have exceeded US$320 million, per Variety – making it the highest grossing domestic crime film of all time in China.
Man started out as a model at the age of 14 before her first foray into the film world. She delivered some of her most memorable performances in films such as Helios, Cold War 2 and The Midnight After, earning two Hong Kong Film Award nominations.
