Ever Gabo Anderson, the 15-year-old daughter of actress Milla Jovovich and British sci-fi film director Paul W.S. Anderson, is already flying high in her career as Wendy in her first major role in Disney+’s Peter Pan & Wendy.

Last week, the teenager brought her own magic to the NYC red carpet premiere of Peter Pan & Wendy in a Miu Miu teal cut-out dress with a puffed-out skirt. She matched her ensemble with a pair of strappy black heels. She also sported loose waves and opted for natural make-up, looking like a dolled-up version of Wendy in real life.

As the budding Gen Z actress steps out from the shadow of her parents, we take a look at Ever beyond the screen and how she’s proving to be much more than just a pretty face.

Even from a young age, Anderson knew she wanted to pursue acting. In a 2016 conversation with Interview magazine, Anderson recalled asking her mum if she could audition for TV when she was five, but her mum said she needed to learn to read first. By the time she turned seven, her reading had improved so she asked her mum again, who this time advised her to take acting classes to see if it was something she truly enjoyed.

Anderson then attended The Playground, a young actors’ acting conservatory in Los Angeles and Orange County.

When Anderson auditioned to play the younger version of her mother’s character Alicia Marcus in 2016’s Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, Jovovich admitted to Entertainment Tonight that she got nervous, fearing that the acting gig might burn her daughter out. But Anderson proved otherwise, showing off her natural acting chops.

Later in 2021, Anderson played the younger version of Natasha Romanoff, Scarlett Johansson’s character in Marvel’s Black Widow.
