Nick Cave, best known as the frontman of Australian rock band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, has built a legacy as a consummate performer and songwriter for more than 40 years. He is a regular guest at Gucci’s fashion shows and events, and a good friend of creative director Alessandro Michele.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds released their 17th studio album “Ghosteen” in October 2019 to critical acclaim, with a number of music media outlets rating the album five out of five.

Away from the band, Cave covers a broad scope of artistic endeavours – including composing film scores and writing novels. He engages directly with fans through his blog, The Red Hand Files.

In addition to handwritten lyrics and set designs, the Nick Cave Exhibition will host original artwork by the cultural icon, as well as literature, photography, videos and personal artefacts over eight rooms in The Black Diamond.
