During a celebration dinner, we tasted some of the restaurant’s specially created delicacies and signature dishes. The first dish - fresh green asparagus with Portuguese cured ham (pata negra), capers and suckling pig pie - was delicious. The pie was full of flavour; the ham and asparagus went well together. We then tried wet lobster rice with fresh prawns. The rice was braised in a rich lobster stock and came with tasty lobster meat; the prawns, however, were a bit on the soft side.

Next came grilled wagyu beef with creamy mashed potatoes and grilled Brussels sprouts - a typical meat lover’s dish. The tender and juicy steak had a pleasant smokie flavour.

The night was wrapped up with a plateful of decadent home-made chocolate cake with fresh fruit.
