Does anyone else feel like they blinked and now it is the end of September? Now that the temperature and humidity are starting to drop, we have entered Hong Kong’s best season. Ahead of the National Day celebrations on October 1, here are our top five recommendations for this weekend.

1. Mark Bradford: Exotica

Hauser & Wirth gallery is presenting a solo exhibition of new and innovative works by the American artist Mark Bradford. Best known for his multilayered collages and paintings, Bradford delves into the enduring impact of colonialism and concepts of “otherness”.

The artist also worked with young people in Sham Shui Po to create a mural at The Bridge+, a social enterprise.
