The robust economy and the existing talent shortage present a dual manpower challenge to many businesses.

Thanks to increasing competitive pressures in the market, employers are trying to recruit more staff to meet business growth needs while at the same time striving to keep their existing workforce stable.

With 30 vacancies to fill, the Analogue Group, a leading operator in electrical, mechanical and environmental engineering, is taking this challenge in its stride by using a combination of corporate prestige, professional excellence and people-orientated management to engage its existing staff and attract quality talent.

Analogue's founder and managing director, Otto Poon Lok-to, said the group had undertaken the recruitment drive to meet its increasing demand for quality.

Among the openings are positions for project managers, engineering positions relating to project design, management, commissioning and testing, as well as technician level maintenance operators and service mechanics.

'Extra manpower is needed to support our newly developed contracting business in Macau and China, and our product design and manufacturing companies in the mainland,' said Mr Poon.
