Clearly supported by his colleagues in the film industry, director Yonfan received many congratulations at Filmart on his latest endeavour, Colour Blossoms.

The film, which is still in the post-production stage, took one year to conceptualise and two months to shoot. Because the film is not finished, Yonfan would not say what the story is about, but offered the one-minute trailer cut especially for Filmart.

Teresa Cheung Siu-wai is seen wearing her famous sadomasochistic leather outfit in her first acting debut, but she said, 'I was dressed in the S&M outfit, but had no idea what to do, we were jumping around like idiots with only the director and cinematographer Wang Yu to direct us. It was quite funny.' she says.

Sho, Japanese model and rumoured boyfriend of Faye Wong, is acting for the first time (he plays a photographer). So is model Carl Ng, who plays a policeman.

CitySeen asked Yonfan why he used amateur actors in this film and he responded: 'No mainstream Hong Kong actors would participate in something like this, so I had to use inexperienced ones.'
