Designer Lau brings stylish fashion sense to Land Rover's launch of Evoque Prestige edition

Land Rover has rolled out a new edition of its award-winning Range Rover Evoque with a fashion-inspired spin by local designer Henry Lau.

The carmaker, known for building tough cars with off-road potency, is aiming to hit the sweet spot combining efficiency, performance and luxury with the new Range Rover Evoque Prestige edition.

A car enthusiast himself who drives to work often, Lau was impressed by the sleek luxury SUV.

'Land Rover has given me an impression that it's raw and masculine, but the new cars look sophisticated and highly streamlined,' he said. 'The car's good stereo and sunroof, as well as the roomy interior, give me a lot of space for inspiration.'

The car sports a 380W Meridian sound system with 11 speakers and one subwoofer for the driver's audio pleasure.

In Land Rover's Causeway Bay showroom recently, Lau dressed three ways - the clubbing look, sporty look and party look - to show how versatile the vehicle was, whether on muddy mountains or city streets.
