We’re continually surprised by the number of things Xiaomi sells in its stores: Air purifiers, TVs, toy robots, scooters… oh, and of course, smartphones.

Even by those standards, their latest addition really stands out, because they’ve just added a 25 piece furniture set.

While still technically part of the Xiaomi family, it will actually be sold under the company’s MIJIA sub-brand, which includes products that are made by companies that partner with Xiaomi.

It’s part of Xiaomi’s ecosystem, where it invests or partners with a wide range of companies. Xiaomi gets to sell those products in their stores, drawing customers in by offering a much wider range of things than they ordinarily would -- while those companies get featured by Xiaomi.

In this case, Xiaomi has partnered with a brand called Master Tong, based in the eastern city of Hangzhou to help create the set -- which includes items for the bedroom, home office, living and dining rooms.
